BIO
Una McAlinden is a catalyst for consensus-based, action-oriented visioning and planning.
Una served more than ten years as executive director of statewide not-for-profit, ArtsEd Washington. Taking a systems approach, and using Technology of Participation facilitation methods, she developed programs that supported education leaders and their teams in creating a shared future - and equipped them to bring their vision to reality.
A former attorney, Una brings innate abilities to guide groups through a series of focused conversations, trusting their collective wisdom can solve the challenges they face with creative, feasible, and sustainable strategies.
Although Una has always loved her sticky walls, she has adapted quickly to the virtual setting and still gets goosebumps at the start of every session, anticipating the journey of the assembled team.
